Acupuncture & Classical Chinese Medicine - an ancient holistic system to regain balance.

Despite rapidly evolving technology, ample choices and opportunities and good economic conditions, keeping up our health and wellbeing can be a challenge. We aim at balancing family, work, interests and life in general. Finding our place among our communities and resisting pressures that wear us out. Once acknowledged that we have to do something about our health and wellbeing, the first port of call is the family doctor or general practitioner (GP). They might order a range of tests and investigations that could return a diagnosis but treatment options such as drugs, physiotherapy or counseling, although helpful, may not always suit or suffice.

If you find yourself in a situation where you or one of your family members requires more support and a diverse approach, Acupuncture and Classical Chinese Medicine could offer a view that takes all aspects (physical, mental, emotional and spiritual) into consideration.

Traditional East Asian Medicine (TEAM) is an ancient, holistic medical system, and one of the most popular complementary medicine modalities in Australia. Acupuncture are Chinese herbal medicine are best known disciplines. Other treatments include cupping, Gua Sha (‘Scraping’), Tui Na (‘Kneading’-massage) as well as lifestyle advice. TEAM not only uses a distinctive framework of diagnosis and treatment but most importantly applies tailored care for the individual person or child.

How does it work?

Once you book your consultation, we will establish a timeline and full history of all important events in your life. Based on the presentation of your symptoms (physical, emotional and otherwise), we will determine a pattern of imbalance. Based on this, a treatment strategy that involves acupuncture (and maybe cupping, Gua Sha and massage), tailored Chinese herbal medicine as well as diet and lifestyle advice will be discussed. Once we agree on the treatment plan, you will be on your way, fully supported and empowered.
